Some great road racing performances at the superb quality 25th Annual Armagh International Road Race in Northern Ireland on Thursday 19th February from Chris Busaileh, Mike Cummings and Michael Dyer put Herne Hill Harriers on the map. In the main feature men’s 5km race that was of awesome quality in depth, Chris found the excellent time of 14.44.33 good for 45th place, followed in by Mike breaking 15 minutes for the first time in 53rd clocking 14.57.17. Close behind in 60th Michael Dyer in his home country make a breakthrough of no less than 25 seconds as he recorded 15.06.83 for a great run that shows he is wintering well for the coming summer track season. In the 3km road race Michael’s coach and HHH and North Down club mate Francis Marsh had a decent race placing 19th and 3rd M45 with a time of 9.35.27 on a good evening for our men that made their trip well worthwhile.
