Snowden back to her best world level

Katie Snowden returned to world level 1500m racing on Sunday 14th June at the World Athletics USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix meet.
In finishing 2nd behind a world indoor medallist, Katie’s 4:00.97 was a Commonwealth and European Champs qualifying time.

The Surrey and Herne Hill Harriers women’s 1500m record holder ran her fastest time since 2024 to make a late bid for selection for the CWG in Glasgow with the England deadline being midnight at the end of that day.

She now flies back to London after training at altitude in Flagstaff in readiness for this weekend’s UK Championships in Birmingham which include trials for the Birmingham 2026: European Athletics Championships.
