Yesterday, Sunday 3rd August at the Southern U15 and U20 Inter Counties Championship at the Allianz Stadium at Barnet Copthall in North London Rushane Thomas finally raced over the junior men’s (U20) height hurdles with a following wind within the legal limit. The result was a great PB of 13.81 which with a + 0.4 m/s wind constitutes a new Herne Hill Harriers club and Surrey county U20 men’s record. Rushane takes over this mantle from his club mate Blade Ashby who had held the previous mark with 13.94 (+ 0.5 m/s).
