Herne Hill Harriers returned to Parliament Hill for the London Cross Country Championships. Our Men’s team placed 2nd, securing their first medal at this event for many years.
Our Women’s team was 15 strong and achieved team bronze, their third team medal at cross country so far this season.
Over in Wales at the Cardiff Cross Challenge there was HHH interest in the Women’s short course race which was used as trials for next month’s European Cross Country Championships. Lucy Jones finished 3rd and Saskia Millard 9th. In the long course races Tom Austin and Liv Stillman placed 30th and 39th respectively.
Attention now turns towards Saturday’s Surrey League match at Beckenham Place Park.
