Congratulations to Phoebe Anderson who placed 4th in the Liverpool Cross Challenge Senior Women’s race to secure automatic selection for the European Cross Country Championships in Lagoa, Portugal in three weeks time. This will be Phoebe’s third GB vest this year, having already competed at the European Road Running Championships and the World University Games.
The Senior Women’s race also featured Lucy Jones who placed 9th. Meanwhile Arlo Ludewick put on a strong showing finishing 25th in the Senior Men’s race. Harry Bell and Fabien Whitelock finished 104th and 111th respectively in the U20 Men’s race.
We also had success over the cross country closer to home, as Molly Smith claimed the win in the South of the Thames junior race held at Lloyd Park.
