Herne Hill Harriers club 100m record holder Marvin Popoola has only just left the junior ranks of the under 20’s, but on Saturday 31st January Marvin makes his senior international debut representing England at the Vienna Indoor Classic meeting. Added to the team after the initial announcement, Marvin’s selection is a reward for his first senior title claimed when winning the South of England 60m gold medal at the recent championship at Lee Valley. As a follow up Marvin will also be racing for his country over 60m on Friday 6th February at the Gugl Indoor Meeting in another Austrian city, Linz.
