Herne Hill Harriers youngsters went to the Camberley Open cross country races on Sunday and returned with a large medal haul as they ran really well on a testing muddy course
Annabella Bailey led the way with a win beating all the girls and boys in the U9 race, then Maisie Collis won the U11 girls race with Jess Butland third.
In the Under 11 boys race newcomer Jack Hedges was a strong finishing second. Mohammed Ali won the U13 boys race in which there was a Herne Hill 1-2-3-4 with Marlon Fernandez, Jacob Alley & Toby Reynolds following and Lucy Olsen the U15 girls from clubmate Eloise O’Shaunghnessy
In the U15 boys Paul Chalobah led the field home from Mohammed Mohammud and Joel Cruywagen completed the team win. The Under 17 women also won the team prize through Daisy Setyabule, Alice Setyabule and Alex Rispoli who were 2nd, 3rd & 4th.
Other team prizes were won by the Under 13 boys and the Under 13 girls were second with Shanice Daley completing the team
