Dave Peters achieved a very comfortable victory in the M40 1500m in the BMAF Indoor Championships,which took place at Lee Valley on 17/18 March. In typical fashion, he didn’t allow the ease of his win to diminish his pace, and his time of 4:08.64 was just outside the HHH M40 indoor club record held by Francis Marsh.
M65 Allan Long was second in both the long jump and triple jump, and M60 Mike Mann brought off a hat-
trick of third places in the 800/1500/3000.
M45 Masakatsu Kondo, defending champion in the long jump, was second on this occasion. He also came
second in his 60m heat.
M60 Steve Knight was 5th in the 800m and 6th in the 1500m, and M50 Andy Millbank was 6th in the 1500m.
