Herne Hill Harriers youth bring home four titles and seven medals from South of England Championships

The team representing HHH on the track in the weekend’s South of England AA Age Group Championships at Ashford in Kent brought home a slew of medals in the U17/15/13 categories, including four first place titles.

– Michaella Pottinger led our medals haul with two golds (U13 girls 100m in a new PB of 13.19 and 200m in 27.11).

– Other firsts came from Feysel Nadew (U17 men’s 800m in 1.55.61) and Mohamed Mohamud (U15 boys 1500m in 4.19.01). In what was an extremely close finish, Oscar Millard also did well in the 1500m, placing fifth in a new PB of 4.23.37.

– Rounding out the track medallists, Lakeisha Owusu-Junior took bronze (12.48 in the U15 girls 100m).

– In the field events, silvers were won by Alfred Mawdsley (U15 boys discus with 46 metres) and Ore Adamson (U15 girls long jump with 5.46m).
