Glen Keegan is new Herne Hill Harriers President

The new Club President of Herne Hill Harriers was confirmed at the online AGM on Wednesday 27th October which also presented the club end of year reports for 2020-21 and elected Vice Presidents and Executive Committee members for the coming year. Glen takes over from Keith Newton who is thanked for all of his work throughout the two years of his Presidency which covered a period of unprecedented global and local circumstances.

In a letter to the Herne Hill membership Glen says the following:-

Dear Herne Hill Harrier,
I am grateful and honoured to have been appointed as the new President of our great club.
Firstly I would like to thank Keith Newton for the fantastic job he has done in steering HHH through the last couple of years, in what can best be described as strange times.
For those that don’t know me I am an enthusiastic runner and coach but have also competed in field events when needed.
As President I wish to encourage participation, be that pulling on a Club vest and competing, becoming a Coach or Official, helping out with team management or volunteering to become a member of the clubs executive committee (of which there are a number of positions to fill) so if you can spare some time to help out in the running of the Club please let me know.
I am sure you have ideas on how we can improve Herne Hill Harriers and it would be great to hear from you so I can set our priorities for the year ahead.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible over the coming year and feel free to email meglenkeeganhhh@gmail.com or call for a chat on07786 930970
Up the Hill
Glen 😉
