There were some fantastic performances by HHH young athletes chosen to represent Surrey at the National Inter-counties Cross Country Championship in Birmingham on Saturday 10th March. Well done to Lascelles Hussey on winning a Bronze team medal in the U15 boys race, placing 41st, while we saw superb individual performances by Breagha Campbell, 7th in the U13 girls race and Paul Burgess, 11th U13 boy, both of whom if they were not boxed in could have finished even higher.
In Breagh’s race the Surrey team placed 6th, while in Paul’s U13 Boys race the Surrey team was 10th, with Sam Cohen also placing 85th. In the U15 Girls race in 112th was Skye O’Shaunessy, a race in which the Surrey team was 2nd, while in the U17 Men in 175th was Amin Jisow, with the Surrey team placing 10th.
