Herne Hill Harriers youngsters were in cross country action at muddy Parliament Hill in the London Youth Games where they were running for their London boroughs.
Individual winners were Jaden Kennedy in the under 13 boys, Lulu King in the under 13 girls and Eimear Griffin in the under 15 girls. their wins helped London borough of Wandsworth win the cross country event as they started their attempt to retain their LYG title. Herne Hill Harriers athletes representing Wandsworth, Southwark, Croydon, Merton and Lambeth also had several top ten finishes in the testing conditions.
The following day several youngsters travelled to Camberley for their annual cross country races where winners included Christo Chilton in the u11 boys, Annabella Bailey in the u11 girls & Jaden Kennedy in the u13 boys whilst Jess Buckland was second in the u13 girls. Team titles were won in the u13 girls (Jess, Poppy Craig McFeely & Isobel Pennicard) and the u13 boys (Jaden & Ben and Jacob Harrison).
