The England South Team celebrated their victory at the Home International in Wales
on 29.7. 2015. Our very own Michele Obijiaku won a bronze medal. She was joined
by Mackanaki Williams and England (S) Team Coach Les Johnson. All three are from
Herne Hill Harriers.
England (S) Team Coach Les Johnson, Mackanaki Williams and Michela
Obijiaku lifted the Winners Trophy at the recent Home International in Wales.
Les says, ”it was so great to see athletes from my HHH squad competing at a very
high performance level and contributing to a Team win. There were over thirty
u20 athletes in the Team and I was extremely pleased with the Team managers,
technical proficiency of the Team and their effort. Everyone pulled together and
delivered a great win.”
