One day after a 17 year old HHH woman ran in a world age 800m final an 11 year old set a new club U13 girls record at 1500m. Saskia Millard ran the prodigious time of 5.02.6 in the Blackheath & Bromley Open Meeting at Norman Park to break a recent record of 5.04.2 held by 12 year old Breagha Campbell. With 2 such precocious talents training in the same group under coach James McDonald the 5 minute barrier will surely be breached by one or both athletes in the coming weeks. Watch this space!
