Another Saturday, another team win (or two) for HHH men! Well done Brian Wilder 4th, Ben Paviour 7th, John Kettle 8th and Sarwar Khan 9th for defending our South of Thames 5 miles team race cross country 4 man shield and we retained the 8 man too, with Basil Wallace 25th, Alex Smith 37th, Paul Shiel 40th and Winston Parkinson 49th being our scorers 5-8. Thanks also to usual star runner Chris Busaileh who turned team manager for the day and made a very successful debut in this role.
North of the border in Glasgow, Keith Newton represented England in the annual British & Irish Masters Home International race. A member of the England M45 team that comfortably brought home gold medals, Keith was 6th M45 and finished 33rd overall in a race that also included M35, M45, M50 and M55’s.
